Johanna Bohoy


Johanna designs for her firm BOHOY DESIGN and specializes in food packaging. She paints for her site, Lightcaught.com, and recently had a food exhibit “A la Carte Art”.

Her award-winning work is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian’s Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, has been honored for environmental design and packaging, and has authored/illustrated a children’s book.

Johanna graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology and lives in an 1860s gatekeepers cottage in Massachusetts and works in her studio– a converted duck house. Her other passions, besides food, are ballet/dance, gardens, photography, fashion, travel & especially discovery.

She is a member of the Massachusetts Specialty Food Association (MFSA) and produces their neswletter and mktg materials, volunteers for the local Library, is a member of SAG Aftra [Screen Actors Guild] and works as an extra in movies & TV.
