Working as a professional editorial and commercial photographer for thirty years, the assignments that continue to bring Kindra the most joy and satisfaction are those covering local growers and food producers. Understanding their importance, Kindra co-founded the Grow Spring Expo to connect Essex County, Massachusetts residents with their local producers and provide them with information on local conservation and preservation organizations. Kindra feels that educating the public to the benefits of growing their own food supports land conservation while simultaneously strengthening community bonds. Now in its eighth year, the Grow Spring Expo is a cherished family event and a valuable resource for the entire community.
